After reading, “Nike’s Use of Child Slave Labor,” it is a very reliable website I can say. It brought facts from other sources like CBS’ 48 Hours, and numerous websites to make its post, just like I’m doing. The date of upload is 2005, which is around the time when all this criticism about Nike was just heating up. It also has its sources at the bottom of the page, which tells me it wasn’t making up facts. It doesn’t however, give any of the other side of how Nike is trying to improve. In my opinion, Nike really isn’t trying to improve. The fact that Nike is using child labor is outrageous and is infuriating. I believe it is true because of the previous websites I researched. The authors purpose for writing this piece of text was to make people aware/inform of the circumstances that these innocent children are undergoing just to make a living. I think that all three of these websites are very reliable and can emit a lot of information for researches of this topic.

The Show of Nike's Cheap Labor
Once I read, “Nike’s Cheap Labor,” I can safely say that this is a very reliable source. It has a bibliography of the authors, a date of update (2004), and a copyright program (2004 Campaign for Labor Rights). This article does not appear very biased because of the word choice; it has a very mellow tone and no exaggerated word choice. The author’s viewpoint is that Nike is mistreating its workers and it is not the only site that thinks that. The statistics are very accurate and so are its accusations. It does actually, show a little of what Nike is doing to step away from this criticism and solve it, but not much. I feel that the authors purpose was to persuade the heads of Nike to take a bigger step towards correcting the Nike sweatshop problems. All and all, I feel that this site is a very reliable source to look up when researching Nike sweatshops.

Biased or Facts?
After reading, “Nike Admits Sweatshops Sports Giant Discloses Supply Chain,” I can say that it is one of the most informational sources I read, but it is extremely biased. It states that Nike reported abusive treatment to the workers, verbally and physically. I think that it is a very reliable source, despite the fact that it was updated in 2005! Although, it was written around the time that Nike did disclose its supply chain. Because of its extreme biased, I suspect most people will not read this article because it says only what Nike did not do, and when they did disclose their supply chain, it talked about how bad the working conditions were and never stated if the workers were volunteers or if they are poor countries. I think that the authors purpose for writing this article was to inform people of the cruel punishment these people are going through. I really think people should read this article though, because of its accurate information. I researched a little more, and I found more of the same information on several sites, leading me to believe that is very accurate. It is solely facts and very little opinions, but it seems biased because of the author’s word choice and his connotation and denotations. Its using words that usually people find very irritating, but it is pure facts.
